At The Wayfarers Nest, we want you to feel confident choosing pieces for your home. As we’re a small Australian business, we’re not able to offer exchanges or refunds for change of mind currently. We recommend checking the photos, dimensions and descriptions before purchasing to make sure the piece is the right fit for your space.
Faulty Items & Damages
Many of our items are crafted by hand or made from natural materials, which means no two pieces will be exactly the same. Variations in colour, veining, texture or finish are normal and part of the character of each item — these are not considered faults. We check every piece before shipping to ensure it leaves us in good condition.
If your item arrives damaged
If your order arrives damaged, please email us within 24 hours of receiving it so we can help.
- When contacting us, please include:
- Your name and order number
- A brief description of the issue
- Clear photos of:
– the damage
– the packaging
– the shipping label
This information helps us understand what happened and resolve things quickly.
What qualifies as damage?
We can offer a refund or replacement if the item has clear structural damage, such as cracks, breaks, chips, or major defects affecting use.
The following are generally not considered damage or faults:
- natural veining, colour shifts or pattern variation
- small marks or irregularities that occur naturally in stone or handmade processes
- slight differences in shape or finish
Once reviewed and approved, we will arrange a replacement or refund promptly.
